ABOUT US
Wheatley farms started with five acres and our daughter's 5th grade science project. She decided, with a little influence from my husband, to hatch 40 silkie chickens. Once the chickens hatched we couldn't resist adding animals to the farm. Next came cows, goats, and a pig named Violet.
As we began eating fresh eggs and the meat from the animals we raised we began to taste the difference compared to what we could buy at the store. All beef, pork, and chicken are raised with lots of room to roam, no antibiotics or added hormones.
We found that we were not the only family that wanted to eat this way and decided to sell our pastured meat and eggs to our friends and neighbors.
Stop by the roadside shack and pick up whatever we have to share.
